Our Mission

Our mission is to empower, connect, and support the youth of our community. Through fundraising and networking events, members of our chapter will execute mentorship programs, scholarships, and community service initiatives. We aim to uphold the legacy of excellence, integrity, and leadership synonymous with Alabama State University.

About ASU South Florida Alumni Chapter

Our chapter was founded in _______ by ________. Currently we serve the South Florida counties of Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm. However, we are the only Alabama State University alumni chapter in the state of Florida.

Our members attend college fairs in the tri-county area to raise awareness of our academic programs and recruit new students. Our goal is to gather funds to support the institution and local students in need of financial assistance. In recent years, we have raised over $10,000 and granted over $5000 in scholarships and financial help to prospective and existing ASU students.
